I developed, designed, and deployed a virtual workshop series by Library Services. The curriculum includes:

Instruction Committee Chair
This committee’s mission is to foster information literacy essential too students’ academic success through customized teaching and support. We create videos, tutorials, and other resources for students and instructors to use. We use student learning objectives to guide our work.
As Chair, I use project management and program level vision working with the director and faculty to keep our work relevant, timely, and purposeful.

Library instruction
I teach up to 15 live research sessions a semester plus I oversee the library instruction tutorials for asynchronous instruction.
I’m the primary Library Guides administrator assuring consistency and updates as necessary.

Library manager
I’ve managed two libraries with staff and the collection budget, as well as being the liaison between the library department and faculty.
Part of the role is to plan coverage, assist students, and the oversee the physical presence of the library.

Construction
I have planned and supervised three construction projects to update a library. I’ve also planned, managed, and executed an archives project that took a music collection shoved in two closets and transformed it to a state of the art archives including movable shelving, archival storage, database entries, and special lighting.

Constant development and weeding
Libraries can become stagnant. Weeding and care keeps a library relevant to the community.
I’ve been a part of developing collection development plans, user analysis, marketing, and project management in libraries.
